I’m retired from Carnival.

2008 was the last year that I played mas. I played with the band Trini Revellers and that year

their presentation celebrated Mexico. My section was El Día de los Muertos.

About 5.00 p.m. Burnt to a crisp. Head piece and standard given away to spectators.

For the most part, I don’t miss participating in Carnival.  However, every now and again, there’s a soca song (or two) that beckon me to come out of retirement.  This season, my I-can’t-help-it-I-have-to-take-a-lil-wine tunes are:

Now I want to go to all the fetes and wine on all the boys and buy a costume and hit the road on Carnival Monday and Tuesday. Whey de music truck?

    Lol you are too funny. But it's true people busy looking photo shoot ready than enjoying life moments.

      The Bum Bum video is such an accurate depiction of how we "enjoy" things these days.
